About Edart's Studio -  Ceramic Tile Murals

Edart's Studio is what I call my workshop.  It started it's life as a garage, but is now half mancave and half art studio.  The mancave side also houses a large variety of wood working tools in case I feel the need to build, but mostly it is a place to relax and work on ideas.
The art studio is where I spend most of my time.  I have the traditional brushes and paint, but the only tool to which I can claim proficiency is the multi-monitor  powerhouse of a workstation that I use to turn pixels into art.  I get so lost creating digital paintings that I use a timer to bring me back to reality,   I LOVE retirement!

Along the south wall I have an area to make dye sublimation tiles.  This area consist of a fancy Epson printer and a heat press, plus all the other tools I need to create and package the ceramic tiles you will find on this website.

I have never had so much fun!

I think my love for this art shows in the work.  I am meticulous about the details. Each tile is made by hand, one tile at a time.  It takes about twenty minutes to prepare and cook a dye sublimation tile.  They come off the press hot and are allowed to cool for a half hour.

After they pass a thorough quality check, they are packaged and set out for pickup.  Most orders go out within 24 hours of the order, though I do reserve the right to take a day off every now and then, so plan on a couple of days, or message me if it is important to be quick.  I am happy to comply when I can.

I take pride in my boxes.  I prioritize cushioning.  Nobody wants to receive broken merchandise, so I make sure your tiles will be safe on their journey to their new forever home. I use the printer stock left over from making your tiles, and repurposed shipping materials that are shredded into a soft cushion for your box.  You tiles are wrapped in paper cushion sheets, then packed in a roomy box.  I add the care instructions and notes for installation, then tape it up and put it out for the postman.

I almost always use USPS Priority Mail utilizing their flat rate boxes as tiles can be quite heavy.  I cannot promise all boxes will be three day mail, but most will even if you choose ground.

I am happy to add a personalized message on orders marked as a gift.  I will include a blank note card printed with the same art you see on the tiles.  I can insert any words you would like to include.  Just send me a message, preferably through my Etsy store.

I thank you for supporting a disabled old surfer dude and his wife through their retirement years.

Tip of the day:  Never underestimate and old guy with a surfboard!
