This is a set of 4 canvas prints of original artwork found only at Edart’s Studio. Impressionistic paintings of a sailboat on a cloudy day.
I would like to tell you that I only sell products made from the world’s finest materials, but it would not be true. I CAN promise you that I will use the best affordable paper I can find. I could build a fort with the piles of paper I have discarded as unacceptable! But… I think my exhaustive search for a good, reasonably priced paper was worth the effort!
My goal is to bring art into your home at a reasonable price. I make everything. I don’t need much. It is fun. So why not spread the joy a little. I won’t sell a product if I don’t think it is worthy. I truly believe you will love this set of prints, and I am honored that you are considering my art for your home.
All prints are 8” x 10” and come to you in sheets. You will need to frame them before use. They will make a sofa sized collage with each matted to fit an 11” x 14” frame, or a smaller focal point in 8” x 10” frames.
I offer two products at different price points. Paper prints are the most budget friendly. The canvas prints are a bit more expensive, but they add a touch of luxury, and I think the price reasonable. Both products ship in a 9” x 12” envelope with a cardboard insert. Shipping this way is environmentally friendly and cost-effective. I pay shipping cost for these prints, so shipping is free to you.
For the canvas prints, I landed on a brilliant product made in the United Kingdom. Cotton Photo Fabric has a 100 percent true cotton base with an innovative coating that allows for maximum color saturation and a highly detailed reproduction of the original art. It has a light canvas texture and a matte finish. It is perfect to display in an art frame without glass. They can be stretched onto a frame like you would with any painting, but I prefer to dry mount the sheets prior to framing.
The paper I use for the Giclee prints was a spectacular find. It is 110 lb. card stock with a matte photo paper coating. It prints better than ANY other paper I have tried. It is not archival, so the price is far cheaper than its acid free cousins.
What does this mean to you? In fifty years, they will probably have yellowed a bit, but for the foreseeable future they look awesome! If you’re buying as an investment, just send me a message and I will print yours on sheets of the archival paper I bought along the way. Plus, I would enjoy talking to someone that thinks my art will be valuable in 50 years! (: humor :)
When you buy art from my store you do two things. You get a quality product at a reasonable price, and you have directly helped a retired American in shock over the rate of inflation.
